OUR WOMEN: 125 OF DUNEDIN'S EXTRA-ORDINARY WOMEN

Tuesday 30 October 2018

From Otago Museum's "What's On at Otago Museum" 29 October 2018:

"September 2018 marks 125 years since New Zealand became the first country in the world to grant women the right to vote. To mark this anniversary, Otago Museum has commissioned 125 portraits of extra-ordinary Dunedin women, to be exhibited in the Beautiful Science gallery.

Our Instagram page is already filling up as we share the first of these remarkable images, as well as responses from the participants who were each asked to describe their experience as a woman here in Dunedin.Go and check them out here.

Make sure to
follow us so you're up to date as we release more images over the coming weeks.

The exhibition opens this Saturday in the Beautiful Science Gallery and is free for all visitors."
